Copenhagen 1 - Royal Court

The Denmark flag was created in 1219. It is the oldest flag in the world.

There are 5.8 million people in Denmark. There are 2.1 million people in Copenhagen.

The palace was built in the 1750's. It consists of 4 very large buildings and a church within the Royal Square. The Queen Margarethe is 79 and is able to continue her full role as the Monarch. She has her own building. Her son Prince Frederick and his wife Mary (from Australia) live in their own building. Prince Frederick met Mary in the 2000 Olympics. She did not know he was a Prince for quite a long time. Unfortunately on one of his trips to Australia when he was dating Mary the Paparazzi followed him and he was exposed. He admitted the reason to Mary and she stopped seeing him. But in time she relented. It sounds like a Hallmark Story!
