We pulled out of the Eidfjord port just as we started dinner; we had a great dinner view! The scenery was fantastic and we could watch well past midnight as the sun never seemed to completely set.
For our main course we had Swordfish or Chicken. For desert Vanilla Risotto, Chocolate Volcano or Creme Brûlée. All meals were delicious on this Viking Cruise.
This Farm was started in 1540. Part of the house is from that time and more has been added since.
Notice the grass on the roof. It is trimmed by goats. Many outside buildings are topped by grass roofs, but living residences are prohibited from having grass roofs due to being a potential fire damage. This farm had horses, sheep, goats, and chickens.
