The 1952 Summer Olympics were held in Finland. This soccer field that is currently in use for local children was used in the 1952 Summer Olympics. Some other buildings are also still there.

Stavanger 8 - Waterfall and Pulpit Rock

Bergen 8 - Main Course and Desert

For our main course we had Swordfish or Chicken. For desert Vanilla Risotto, Chocolate Volcano or Creme Brûlée. All meals were delicious on this Viking Cruise.

Bergen 3 - Farm Life

June 20, 2019

This Farm was started in 1540. Part of the house is from that time and more has been added since. Notice the grass on the roof. It is trimmed by goats. Many outside buildings are topped by grass roofs, but living residences are prohibited from having grass roofs due to being a potential fire damage. This farm had horses, sheep, goats, and chickens.
